Americans, if someone was planning to travel abroad to the United States, what advice would you give them? If it were me, I'd recommend that they avoid tourist traps completely. If they were planning to stay in New York, they should avoid Times Square at all costs. It's expensive, overcrowded, and interesting for all of two minutes. Also, don't go to Ohio . There are a few guided activities that most people are unwilling to be cheap about: skydiving, scuba lessons, and boat tours. With all of those activities, you want a trusted professional holding the wheel if things go wrong, and reasonable tourists are typically willing to fork up the cash to ensure the safety of themselves and their families… Not this man.

America. It's not the only place that exists in the world, but to Americans it often sure feels like it. It's always a fun reminder that the way things are here are completely non-ubiquitous. A lot of stuff that seems extremely basic is just not a thing in other places. So hold up a glass for root beer and garbage disposals.
