Ally has been writing for Memebase and Cheezburger since 2021. She has been picking apart all the dumb things that happen on the internet for much, much longer. She has contributed to Know Your Meme's editorial section and acting as a writer for Meme Insider magazine since 2018.
Prior to Memebase, she did a lot of different jobs, a couple of degrees, and spent the excessive amount of time on various social media platforms required for the role.
Some of her favorite things include reading articles on obscure topics,
armchair psychology, and reacting to the memes that her friends send her like it's her second job. She likes to think that all of this makes her a good fit for working in the meme business.
