Brad Dickson

Managing Editor
Editor, Writer, Content Producer, and Biologist originally from the Pacific Northwest. Managing Editor of Cheezburger, Lead Editor of Fail Blog, and Memebase. Long-time member of the site, contributing since 2016 on Geek Universe, Memebase, and Fail Blog. Interested in exploring and writing about how technology and culture shape our social interactions both at home and in the workplace. I joined Cheezburger in 2016, first running Geek Universe and then Memebase before finally settling on Fail Blog. At that point, Fail Blog was all about classic “FAILs” and schadenfreude but has since become more about how the internet and its trends intersect with our lives and social experiences at home, out and about in the world, and in the workplace. In a sense: how society is failing us. I enjoy keeping up with our rapidly changing culture and technology. Writing, then, about how technology, the internet, and pop culture converge and how they influence (and are influenced by) current employment, economic, and workplace issues.
Owing to my background in the sciences, I have grown particularly fond of exploring the impacts of science and technology on our lives, creativity, and productivity. I have a particular love for music and dedicate most of my spare time to making it. Also, for nature and the outdoors, which is great for getting outside and touching grass after spending most of the week online plugged into the internet.
