you mean "scrubs" the tv show or "scrubs" the clothing? the show is funny and i used to have a pair of scrubs i used as pajamas. very comfortable! have fun and happy halloween =^..^=
looked like a pretty good bunny costume. still haven't decided about the party! but I think I'll make a halloween cake. how are your studies going? =^..^=
greetings. am back from alaska, which was a spectacular place. so beautiful. how are you? interesting about the views about halloween. it's an excuse here for adults to dress up and party too much, and for kids to stuff themselves with candy... i am still undecided as to whether i'll attend a costume party. =^..^=
yes, it's a strange world where the people who seem to contribute the least to society are the ones that make the most money! how is your weekend going? do you have Halloween over there? it's a pretty big deal here, lots of candy and costumes. =^..^=
well if it is your dream, go for it! teachers here don't make a pile money, but it's a decent living. you have to be a lawyer or politician to be rich... =^..^=
technically i am at a university - i am a research associate. it's an interesting job, but awfully busy. i had to do three university degrees to get here...nutty but worth it. what do you think you'll do when you're out of school? =^..^=
About "camp" in my young experience it was a fun thing to do in summer. hike, fish, learn about nature etc. So then when I was in college I had an American born Japanese roomie who had been to CamP, very different. and my husband also experienced that. As far as I know they weren't starved and killed but did suffer loss of freedom in desolate locations. The food they had was adequate but not what they liked. The adults were very reluctant to talk about it for a very long time, just trying to get over it and forget. Much later the younger generation has tried to learn more and educate others in the hope of no recurrence.
Sorry I got so carried away I forgot this forum allows so little. I totally forget what I was saying. Hope I didn't bring you down or anything like that. I'm also very sad that the world looks so bleak for you. right now a lot of people here have problems with unemployment and things like that but I don't think ever the violence on mass scale as has been seen in Europe and other parts of the world. (except scattered incidents of crime) I'm hopeful our government will improve with this president but he gets so much opposition from the ultra conservatives. Oh, now I see. just about hoping the world is not so bad for the newer generations.
pretty good so far. when i was in school, my favourite subjects were biology and history. what about yours? =^..^=
That's what I meant about the perspective. We were scared as children when none of the bad stuff actually came to where we were. It's a very bad thing for small children and animals. I have another friend who came out of Hungary as a teenager , early 50's I think. Her father had some stories to tell about how he managed to feed his girls and get through it all. I think malnutrition affected her that she miscarried her first pregnancy. Eventually she had 3 kids ok. Last I saw her she was not very well but coping. I'm 74 and shes close to that. Maybe as old as I am I at least won't see it again in my own lifetime but I have 2 grand daughters. s
