I've been away from home for about 2 wks. visiting friends and family in La. and Tex., so I haven't even checked this site for awhile. Never fear if your messages don't coincide with mine in a timely fashion. I'm glad to hear from you anytime. I checked some biographies to search for other possible friends, and all I can tell you is I'm glad I found you. I DO like poetry, but I lean toward Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, Frost, and I like Rilke also. Will try to click on your friends' site when time permits. BTW, my cats really rejoiced when their mommie came home. TTYL...

Hi, majel99, Well, well... a former AP'er! (see what grammatical & syntactical errors one makes after leaving the trenches? WHEE!) That's about all the excitement I can take for one afternoon. I too am amazed at current computer skills and applications. Thank God, I jumped in early and learned along with my own daughter and some faculty friends who pushed my larger than necessary derriere up the learning curve back in the 80's and 90's. Then my students taught me some not so honest computer tricks, and here I am! Sadly, I had friends who avoided computers like the plague and missed some fantastic improvements along the way. CHEEZEBURGERZ is delightful, and cracks me up at least once daily. I liked the "DR. TINYCAT" also. TTYL... (oh yeah... I'm long -winded. You must bear it nobly.)
