sorry it took me so long to reply. school (mostly advanced math), life, and state have really taken up all of my time. and yes, horses are amazing. and a lot of work. those bales of hay weigh more than i do!

I think the problem I had with english was my left knee. I'd really messed it up in a fall a few years before (VERY obstinate bay gelding tossed me a couple of times), and it was never as strong as it used to be after. Western is more thigh-riding (ooh, that doesn't sound nice!LOL!")
