Fortunately the smart doves built their nest in a very protected part of the hedge and the wind barely seems to touch them! They are so funny...my bird book says with mourning doves the father sits on the eggs during the day and the mother at night. Sure enough, at around 9:00 AM the mother starts "Cooo-cooo"ing...after a while Dad shows up and she flies off! He does the same around 4:00 PM! Today I thought we might have a hatching because the Mom was moving around more and seemed to be poking her beak beneath her, but now she's be immobile on the nest for hours. John and I feel like expectant grandparents!
Mary Ann! Love the Memorial Day pic...BTW, have you been having monster wind storms? We have, and for a day or two we were actually getting so much smoke from the Gila Fire that I thought OUR mountains were on fire again! Happy Memorial Day to your and yours from all of us "Northerners"...

I know many of us are unsuited to host catt but right now the goal is to get members aware of this profile then we can come up with a plan to restart catt the one strong idea is to voluntary donate money to fbastage so he can get a server so he can restart catt but let me stress the word VOLUNTARY if it is going create issues with personal finances don't worry
