It's more things like not being able to get out of bed without ending up on the floor and not being able to get up easily. I can't lift him and sometimes he's not alert enough to do what I say to help himself. Nobody told me that getting old would be like this. Took him with me to shop and go to lunch today. This time he didn't wander off so it was ok.
he is 81 years old, senile, diabetic,etc. Losing ground physically and mentally for quite a while now but it's come to the point that I can't take good care of both of us. The home is only about 5 minutes away so I can visit almost daily. He might be too mad to want me to. I think he's not believing that it's really happening and we might have a hard time getting him into the car when that day comes. I think now about the 1st week of June.
Hope everyone thinks so. Also hope you're doing well. I haven't heard much about that recently. My "thing" going on right now is that I'm getting ready to put my husband in assisted living care home. Lots of paperwork and emotional stuff. Then I will have more time on my hands than I even care to.
Are you saying that people don't respond to you? Shame on them. Where are their manners?
I think you could assume that anyone who replies does like you. a person who doesn't would just ignore you and some people are more neutral, neither like or dislike so might not bother to talk with you. or are too lazy.
