you are welcome. not a conspiracy. not evil....not really an invasion of privacy since it takes no info on you...just a friend making an assumption that created some serious inconvenience. Still...it scared some folks. You should have seen the day it first went online......all of a sudden I was getting all this e-mail of folks saying ohai...check! I am on!...my phone was blinging every three seconds.....I honestly thought I would get off the group...especially after one (now ex friend) started swearing up a storm at the group, on the group...oooh that was ugly, the anger and fear that came through on that one. My guides were right though...I stuck around and it made me finally sort of learn facebork since I have friends I don't see over here. I am even in a support group someone started and that was goddess sent, I tell you. Eleven members now, though I could have sworn we had twelve, can't see anyone missing though. Maybe it's because I was thinking of asking someone if they wanted to join and was wondering if 12 would be too many too soon. She didn't, maybe because I couldn't promise she would get in.....everyone has to be comfortable with a new member....that way no screaming fights between people who might have once been pals.
ohai. Cheesepeeps on facebork is not an official ICHC site..or an unofficial one either. Some cheesepeeps wanted a place where they and other cheespeeps could easily hang out over at fb. I don't completely understand it but it is a "closed" group which either means you cannot look at their stuff without being a member....or that you cannot join. To become a member another member of the group has to add you. That is how I ended up on there, just all of a sudden I started getting all these e-mails. I decided to stay because it was a nice place to hang and talk about cats mostly. Made some good friends through there. I think a lot of folks got added by their friends without being asked or told about it.....not very clear headed thinking, but innocent of ebil intent. One can elect to either not receive notifications, or can simply leave the group.

Aww, thank you, sweetie! I had a feeling about what the problem was even when I asked about it because the email issue with ICHC is NAWT getting emails. I'm still pretty torqued about that unsolicited addition; just another thing to hate about fecesbook. (Don't even get me started on tags... *grrrr*) Love you, lady. *hugs*
I have noticed that all of my new lols are only viewable in 'beta format' I don't like it. But to comment on any lol in beta format you have to pick one of those choices (it is a little drop-down list of value below the comment box, you wouldn't be able to comment there unless you picked one.) I don't know what 'cheezpeeps on faycebuk' is.
Ok, that means you were in the 'beta cheezburger' it is a new format they are testing. Did you comment when you looked at ANY lols that were in the new "beta" (the format would have had you choose to "Comment using" Faceboop, yahoo, AOL, or hot mail) ?

Beta new version of a site test they are doing. Did you have to put in a faceboop, Yahoo, AOL or Hotmail address before you could post a comment on an lol?
It shouldn't affect your site, but customer service will check it out to see what types of emails that are being sent to you. thx!

Those emails are coming directly from fecesbook, not here. Someone added me to that group without my permission as well so I got lots of email notices from them. NOT HAPPY. Go into your fb account, go to the group and either leave it or edit your preferences for notifications. I left the group...and a stern message of consternation for the person who saw fit to decide for me whether or not I should be a part of it. >:[
