It would be nice if you could squeeze in another game of DG before you took off. I assume you have a course down in Bend you can play. I got the folks all squared away without too much trouble. Traffic wasn't horrible. I expected it to take an hour but it only took 45 minutes. Off commute it takes thirty.
You're right about managing your expenses as best you can. When you take on a responsibility you have to face up to it. I knew a woman on a pension who had 11 cats. I asked her how she could afford them because I wasn't working and I was worried about feeding myself and the one cat I had. She told me she bought cat food, and then cigarettes, and if she had some money left she bought groceries. o.0
Hi Syl, that's okay about last night. I was just touching bases with some peeps to say hello since it had been awhile. Yes, that dansen was surly in order. Hmm...I'm not familiar with the Game of Thrones, will have to look it up on Amazon. BTW....loved the post with you and DD! When I meet up with AOCH, I'll have to have my sis take a pic of us together like that so we can post it too. Alas, that's not until August. Got awhile to wait n' that's good because I still need to raise funds for my trip, hence the garage sale. Secondary bonus...I get to clear out a ton of "junk." LOL. Hi Syl! Nah, I was just joshing with BD. I have a feeling he and Becky are happy just the way things are. Tho it would be kinda interesting to see how kitty training would go! lol! A week of fun with the young 'uns! Sounds great! I hope your weather cooperates too and you have a blast!!
Yeah, it's pretty amazing the level of detail they brought into the urban planning sim. The tutorials were enough to get me going but there's still some trial and error involved. I'm still very much cutting my teeth and my largest city is only 30k in population. At some point the transportation system get much more complicated though it will be fun to play with monorails, subways and airports. Has the weather cleared up enough to allow you to get things situated outside before you leave?
