Guess what? It is 9.02.09 and on 9.11.09 I will be fifty and seben! By the Jewish calendar the new year is going to be 5770 so the year I turn 57 is not a coincidence! I will always mourn the losses and honor the bravery of 9.11, but I am reclaiming my birfday and I am reclaiming the Hope that the World will grow beyond pain, and beyond nationalism, racism, religionism..There were many children born on 9.11.01, their birthdays should be days of joy..No one should lose entirely the joy of their birthday..I am not going to make my prayers for those lost as usual, but I invite my friends to celebrate wit me as well!
