Ohai, Lungdoc! *waves to teh soufwest* I haven't been around much, but wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying the Terry Pratchett books. In other news, Smudge got an exam and echocardiogram from a veterinary cardiologist, who said that his cardiomyopathy was apparently diabetes-induced. In other words, with his diabetes in control, his heart has gone back to being normal. His blood glucose bounced around a bit as we weaned him off his two heart meds, but it appears to have settled down. He still needs insulin, but that's all he needs now (well, that and lots of attention, belly rubs on demand, that sort of thing.) I just wanted to share our good news. I hope all is well with you.
Ohai! Jeff here from the library. Were both the pun and the poem your submissions for the Purrlitzer or just the latter? Just wanna make sure the Itty Bitty Prize Committe don't sort them in the wrong shelf :-)

Ohai Lungdoc, It's wonderful to hear from you, it's been a lil whyol! I'm gonna find a new vet close-by, to take da babies and da Momma to! Da one who is here is a big 'butthead', I won't eber take anovver of my furies to him! He's a butcher! I'm gonna git Momma fixed, so she won't hab to go thru it again, it really hurts hur to mourn hur babies, and although she's beautiful, I'd rather have hur than 100 ob hur babies! It killz me! Da babies never eben got sick, they were perfectly normal, playin and fiten, in da morning den just went to sleep, and never woke up! Da Momma was rite wiff dem! She was never sick eivver! Da second time, all died cept one, and he was always healthy, until 5 months later, den he died! I'm gonna be da best 'furrie grammy' I can be, dis time! Dey'll live at da vet's office if dey hab to! Dey're so precious! Eivver way, dis is hur last litter! I don't hab any more girl kitties cept in dis litter and I can't tell dis early! But if dere is any, dey'll get fixed too! Deirs too many kitties dan dey is homes for dem, to keep habin more! Thankz for da note, Polly

***** I haz been 'caught out" by the big bad men in black at werk ( they hack my puter and saw all the 'non werk related' stuffs I been going into)...and they took my interweb access away...NOOOOOOO.... sniffle no moar ICHC at werk... I sez seriously dude U fink ICHC is a threat to national sercurity...thye said BAD KITTY IZ berry berry bad...so peeps I not be able to read any message or anyfing....so dont leave me any....I just come in to look when I can get in via public access at a library or sumfing.......once I get an IPAD i might come in moar...till then LUBS U ALL...HUGGGGZZZZZZZ and smoochies...and PFFFFFT BOO HISS to the stoopy werk rules........
Chris10a here: We also haz a shelf for 'Quotes&Quibs' so Iz shure we will find a spot for urs. All new submissions stay in the general faves for the first few days (so more peepz get to see them) before they get sorted to the right shelf.

Ohai new friend to JeffCatsBookClub, thank u for the FR, it is a pleasure to accept. I assume u have read the profile and see that this is a fun place for peeps to hang out together and enjoy literery pursuits in LOL form. Please to browse the different favorite collections, each representing a different shelf and genre in the library. Fave what you enjoy and if you feel inspired, please do submit ur own literary LOLs. We welcome all submissions that fall within the parameters of the profile. Just drop the URL off here in a msg. There are 3 of us who manage the site in additon to our own profiles, but at least one of us is in here every day to respond to msgs, fave submissions and do admin mgt of the profile.
