Is hubby okay? It does put a crimp in the plans when that hits. I went on vakay last March to see my sis and nieces and their hubbies. I ended up at the heart hospital. I think God sent me there just so I would receive the best care in the country, but it sure messed with my plans, lol! I'm almost beyond okay for heart function this year and approaching excellent. Thank the Lord! God bless you two.
Happi birthday late! Hope you had fun. Has your weather broken early there like it has here or did you get a snowstorm on your special day?
http://cheezburger.com/view.aspx?aid=3031006976 I explained in the comments under this one. Cinders is so gorgeous!!! That pik is set to my desktop for awhile!
Hi there! You must be about 3 hours from us. I don't like to give my city here online, but I'm sure you've heard of Cheese Days? That is where I live. Thank you for the compliments on my LOL's. Actually my husband came up with the Swine Flu one.... I came up with the other one. I guess you have to be from around these parts to understand that song! Probably not known elsewhere. Your dog is precious. My best friend has one like that. I'll have to send her your picture. So nice meeting you!!
Hi there! I see you favored a couple of my photos captions. The one with the cat and two pigs, and the cute little kitten who sang, "When you're smiling..." Thank you! We are both from Wisconsin! What big city are you near? Or, are you IN a big city? I've never heard of Port Washington. Which dog in your pic's is Cinder? Thanks for accepting my friendship!
OMG~I'm still scared that I posted that one about our president... afraid too many people could be offended or worse... no backlash yet.
No problemo :) I discovered it at a bookstore today, and on the back it said that the guy had a website, and I fell in love with it ^_^
I just realized that these comments don't follow the indenting. I haven't read anything by Diana... um, wasn't sure of the last name. But I wanted to clarify that. Sorry. The Scotswoman :)
The "Modern" period is said to be from the beginning of WWI (1914) to the end of WWII (1945). It's reflected in literature as the age of lost innocence. Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Stein and Frost are all considered Modernist writers (even though some lived/wrote past that time period). I haven't read anything by her, actually. I take it you have? Any suggestions for where to start? I love it when people give me new authors to read! :) Thanks so much for the warm response!
